Marjorie Luke Theater, Santa Barbara, CA
Over the past several years, the Marjorie Luke Theater in Santa Barbara, CA saw the needs of their diverse client base evolving faster than ever before. In order to meet those demands and continue drawing first-class performances, the theater hired AMT Systems to implement a new high-end digital mixing console system into their facility. This new network-based digital mixing console allowed the entire existing copper infrastructure to be maintained while adding portable mic preamps for additional connectivity to support the variety of events the theater hosts. By installing multiple network access points around the stage, AMT gave the theater complete flexibility to keep up with the ever-increasing audio needs of their clients and the theater’s busy performance schedule. AMT eliminated the traditional patchbay system by landing the console on the network and routing all signals digitally within the new console.
